The GeForce GTX 1060 is a mid-range graphics card released in August 2016, it is mostly used in high-end gaming laptops. It is based on the Pascal architecture using a smaller GP106 chip and manufactured in 16 nm FinFet technology. The GPU offers the same shader units as the GTX 1060 desktop version but at slower clock speeds which makes it up to 16% slower than the desktop version.

The graphics card features 1280 shader units and operates at a base core speed of 1506 MHz. Which can be boosted up to 1708 MHz. It has a maximum memory of 6GB GDDR5 using the 192-bit interface with a maximum memory bandwidth of 192 GB/s. It features 8000 MHz memory speed.
