The AMD Radeon 530 operates at a base frequency of 730 MHz, which can be boosted to reach clock speeds of up to 1024 MHz according to AMD. The GPU supports DirectX 12.0 technology. The card supports up to 4GB GDDR5 memory connected using a 64-bit interface. The maximum memory bandwidth supported is 48GB/S.

Nvidia GeForce MX150

The MX150 is a dedicated entry-level graphics card for laptops. It was released in May 2017 by Nvidia. Released as the mobile version of the GT 1030 which is a desktop version. It is based on the newer 14nm Pascal architecture.

The GeForce MX 150 offers a core clock speed of 1468 MHz which can be boosted up to 1532 MHz.  The card has a maximum memory of 2 GB using a 64-bit interface. The MX150 also supports DirectX 12 and OpenGL.

Radeon 530 vs MX150 Gaming comparison.

When comparing Radeon 530 vs MX150, the MX150 was found to be more powerful than the Radeon 530 GPU. The MX150 performed better in all game benchmarks on average. eSports games run excellently at 1080p. Games such as Diablo III, Tomb Raider, StarCraft II, Bioshock Infinite, and Dota 2 Reborn are playable on both GPUs at above 60 fps in low settings.

For moderately demanding games such as Overwatch, the MX150 performs more than 2x the Radeon 530 with 131 fps in low settings compared to the Radeon 530’s 47 fps.
